What brought/brings you into cycling?
Originally it was for commuting but eventually I got hooked on the speed and adrenaline. One thing led to another and the rest is history.
Favorite race?
Baker City Classic (This also happens to be the hardest race I’ve ever done.)
Biggest mistake before a race?
Forgetting to visit the porta potty before a 4-hour race.
What is your pre-ride/race ritual, if any?
Breakfast burrito before every ride and Denny’s before every race.
What are you looking forward to this upcoming season?
Racing and all the shenanigans that come with it.
Describe your favorite training ride (preferably a la SNL’s skit "The Californians”)
Anything along PCH that will take me into the mountains.
Best burrito place?
Call me basic but I will never get tired of Chipotle.
Best coffee place?
Phil’s Coffee
Other interests?
When I’m not riding, I’m recovering to get ready for the next ride. So…I like eating, drinking beverages high in carbs, and watching hulu plus.
Any final ruminations, musings, or meditations?
I tried meditating once… I couldn’t keep still for 5 minutes.
