What brought/brings you into cycling?
I always enjoyed mountain biking as a young kid, but then needed a way to get to an old girlfriend’s place before I got my driver’s license. Been doing it since.
Favorite race?
2015 WCCC Conference – Because Gravel.
Biggest mistake before a race?
Not remembering to bring any food… or underwear that weekend.
What is your pre-ride/race ritual, if any?
Take a bit of time to get away from everyone else - be it teammates or competitors – and then mellow out before the race since it doesn’t do anyone any good to be jittery during a race.
What are you looking forward to this upcoming season?
Racing more than just the first and last two race weekends of the season due to injuries.
Describe your favorite training ride (preferably a la SNL’s skit "The Californians”)
