John Kinnear comes to UCLA from Orange Coast College, where he won bronze medals in the Novice 8+ at WIRA and ACRA before earning a spot in their Varsity 8+ as a sophomore. As a Bruin this season Kinnear has already cemented himself as a strong bow seat, racing in the Varsity 8+ at Head of the American, the Ballona Creek Grand Prix, and the Long Beach duel. An aspiring marine, John looks to lead the Bruins back to the championship regattas and finish the season strong.
