Los Angeles, CA — 8.27.25 — UCLA Men's Rugby is proud to announce its 2025–2026 competitive schedule, which promises to be one of the most exciting in recent years. With the return of competitive Sevens rugby to the fall calendar, high-profile XV's matchups, and a challenging spring D1A slate, the Bruins are preparing for a season filled with opportunities to showcase their growth, depth, and ambition.
This fall, UCLA will feature in the three leg series of the West Coast Sevens Tournament, marking the program's return to premier collegiate Sevens competition. On the XV's side, the Bruins will square off against Indiana University, USC, Long Beach State, SDSU and UC Santa Cruz, while also testing themselves against three storied Southern California men's clubs — OMBAC, Belmont Shore, and Santa Monica Rugby Club. These fixtures provide invaluable preseason preparation ahead of the spring's rigorous D1A competition.
The spring campaign kicks off in Westwood with the annual Dennis Storer Classic, honoring the legacy of UCLA Rugby's Hall Of Fame founder. From there, the Bruins dive into the heart of their D1A season, taking on a run of elite opposition including UC Santa Barbara, UC Berkeley, Grand Canyon, BYU, USD, Arizona, Saint Mary's, and Cal Poly.
"With such a competitive schedule, our players will have the chance to measure themselves against some of the best in the country week in and week out," said UCLA Head Coach Harry Bennett. "Our goal is to build momentum throughout the year and put ourselves in the best position to return to the national playoffs in April."
Fans are encouraged to show their support by attending home games in Westwood or following along through weekly streamed broadcasts and results posted across UCLA Rugby's platforms.
