UCLA Men’s Rugby Hosts UCSB in First D1A Home Match of 2026

LOS ANGELES — UCLA Men's Rugby returns to action at Wallis Annenberg Stadium on Saturday, January 24, as the Bruins host conference rival UC Santa Barbara in their first official D1A home match of the 2026 calendar year. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 PM PT.

The Bruins enter the contest following winter break looking to build momentum as D1A conference play resumes. Saturday's matchup serves as an important early test for UCLA as it continues its push toward the postseason and looks to establish consistency in league competition.

UCLA and UC Santa Barbara share a long-standing conference rivalry, with recent meetings between the programs producing highly competitive and physical contests. UCSB arrives in Westwood seeking a road result, while the Bruins aim to protect home field and open the year with a strong performance in front of the Bruin faithful.
