"I never knew that a friend's 8th birthday party would lead to more than a decade's worth of sparkly dresses, level 4 laybacks, and double run-throughs. Every skating experience from local competitions to developmental internationals helped to shape me into the person I am today, and coming to college I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep skating. However, joining the team has been one of the best decisions of my collegiate career - not only did I get to keep pursuing my love for the sport in a fun and interesting light, but also I got the opportunity to get to know my wonderful teammates that I'm proud to call my UCLA family. I am looking forward to all the new memories and accomplishments that will be surely made and achieved by this team this coming '15-'16 season, in my last year at UCLA!"
