"I can't imagine what my life would have been like without skating. This sport has taught me so much both off and off the ice, and every experience has shaped me into the person I am today. In high school, I hit a point where I didn't want to skate anymore - School, friends, and life in general just seemed like it would be better if I cut back my hours on the ice. UCLA Figure Skating changed all of that. Joining the team has been, hands down, one of the best choices I have made! Not only was I able to rekindle my love for the sport, but also got the opportunity to compete as a team with the UCLA Figure Skating Team. We have a strong skating community in Southern California and I am excited for what the team will bring this upcoming 2015-2016 season!"
