On Saturday November 18, 2023, UCLA Wushu participated in the annual Joint Practice event in Irvine, California.
Students from UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, UC Berkeley, San Jose State University, USC, and UC Riverside came together to practice and celebrate a shared excitement for wushu across campuses. Each year, joint practice is held as a way for students to get to know their fellow friends and competitors from all over California. This gives students the opportunity to both share the wushu skills that they have learned and appreciate the unique areas of expertise from other schools.
The structure of joint practice was coordinated by the collective effort of the leadership from each school, with special thanks extended to UC Irvine for hosting. Without their dedicated efforts, such a large event could not have been possible, nor ran so smoothly.
