UCLA Women's Rugby fell 14-5 against University of Arizona on Saturday afternoon.
Despite coming into the game with a winning mentality, the Bruins could not close the deficit against the Wildcats, trailing for the entirety of the game.
"We are always expecting to win, because that is just who we are," said senior
Nicole Chavez. "But they are a bigger team, so they are strong and maybe we will have to get lower on our tackles."

Arizona State took the early lead in the game, logging a try and making the kick within the first five minutes of the game. UCLA attempted to even the score after securing a try late in the half, but the missed kick held the Bruins at a 7-5 deficit.
UCLA could not find the lead in the second half, allowing Arizona a late try in the second half to secure its victory 14-5.
