In America, Hannah Lising-White is an exchange student on UCLA's women's club rugby team. In London, she is a philanthropist.

Lising-White – who is majoring in Geography – has introduced her charity Students Supporting Street Kids (SSSK) to her fellow UCLA classmates and teammates.

Lising-White was was given the opportunity to head SSSK in its beginnings stages at her alma mater Oxford University in London. As president of the organization, she took it upon herself to expand SSSK's work to Los Angeles.

"I loved that it was all student run," Lising-White said. "So many charities now, if you want to work with them, they tell you to go on bucket collection or to sell Kripsy Kreme (donuts) but with this we can create what we want to do."

SSSK helps fundraise, raise awareness, and support various charities all over the world.

One of those charities is based in Vietnam, specializing in providing an education in the culinary field. Another charity located in Cambodia assists children affording college.

There are currently 20 members of SSSK at the Oxford and Cambridge Universities in London.

SSSK will be hosting a women's rugby 7s tournament and will be sporting yellow laces on the pitch to display their ties to the charity.

Help Lising-White and Students Supporting Street Kids by donating to the charity or by showing support by wearing yellow to their games.
