Rain or shine, the UCLA Club Waterski and Wakeboard Team is always ready to shred on the water.
 
This weekend our Bruins competed at Cal Poly's ACDski Tournament in Bakersfield. Despite the rain, they were able to get numerous tournament PB's (personal best). 
 
Bright and early Saturday morning the Men's team started off the Slalom event with Joey Healow at 2 ½ buoys followed by the women's team with president Julia Schulte at 1 buoy. In the trick run Joey Healow and Connor O'Toole Pb'd both gained 40 points. Finishing off the weekend Bruin Mary Kenz landed her first jump in a tournament with 39 feet, alongside Bryce Waldman and Corey Wilson who PB'd at 50 and 67 feet respectively. 
 
The team had a successful tournament placing third overall!
 
Wish them luck as they continue on to Imperial to compete at the SDSU tournament!
