UCLA Club Sports

Sunny is the Esports Coordinator at UCLA and an alum. He started his journey in esports as a student majoring in Sociology, founding and building the Esports @UCLA club in 2017. In collaboration with UCLA Recreation and UCLA Competitive Sports, esports was formally recognized as a Club Sport, where Sunny became the first Student Director of Esports while completing his degree.

Sunny's responsibilities include overseeing the growth of UCLA Esports, Bruin Gaming, Gamers without Labels, and Bruin Broadcasting, managing partnerships, directing scholastic esports engagement at the high school and collegiate levels, coordinating esports programming, and managing the development of esports on-campus at UCLA among others.

Sunny is also a founding member of both the APRU Esports Initiative and the University of California Esports Initiative.
