Megan Normansell - Associate Director Recreational Sports

Megan Normansell

Megan Normansell is the Associate Director of Recreational Sports at UCLA Recreation. She started her career as a Bruin in 2016 as a part of the UCLA Recreation Internship program. In 2017 she became a professional staff member as the Competitive Sports Coordinator. She was promoted to Program Director in 2021, and then to Associate Director in 2024.

Her responsibilities within UCLA Recreation include overseeing the Club Sports program, Intramural Sports, Martial Arts, Adaptive Recreation, and Intramural Field Operations as well as managing full time staff members.

Megan started her recreational sports journey at Ohio University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication and Theater. After that, she was the Recreational Sports intern at Florida Gulf Coast University. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Health and Kinesiology from Texas A&M University where she served as Graduate Assistant for Intramural Sports.
