Brett is a UCLA Competitive Sports Coordinator and alum. He began his career in recreation at UCLA as an intramural official and student coordinator, and he came back home as a professional staff member in the summer of 2021.

His responsibilities include operating Club/Intramural sports programs and events on campus, and managing/training student employees.

Brett served as a Rec Sports Graduate Assistant at University of the Pacific and as a recreation professional at Cal Lutheran University and the University of Michigan.
