UCLA Club Sports

Shannon O’Malley was born and raised in Irvine, California.  She began playing basketball at the age of 5 when her dad, who played collegiately, placed a basketball into her hands.  She has fallen in love with the game ever since growing up playing recreationally, with her brother on their hoop outside everyday, and then going on to playing AAU.  Shannon was a Varsity starting shooting guard all four years at Crean Lutheran and was named captain her junior and senior years.  Here she led the team to the CIF Finals and State playoffs both her freshman and senior year and set the record for most 3 pointers scored in a single game with 10!  When she is not playing basketball, you can find her outside hiking, going on spontaneous adventures, or on the hunt for the best ice cream.  Shannon is so excited to be able to continue to play the sport she loves with the most amazing teammates.
