Biography:
Mckenzie Duran-Gonzalez began playing recreational basketball at the age of 8 after watching her older sister play, and has continued to play since then. She has grown on and off the court, but her basketball career took off after she began playing AAU basketball, elevating her level of play. Her freshmen year of high school she was chosen to play on the varsity girls basketball team and started all four of her years, named captain her junior and senior years, and making it so far as the first-round of the CIF State Tournament. She loves to bake, watch basketball and watch the sunset! Mckenzie decided to put her academics first and pursued her dreams of attending a four-year institution, thus arriving at UCLA, and now able to pursue her dream of playing basketball as well.
