Attended Sacred Heart Preparatory School in Atherton, California, where he was a member of the soccer team ... Also played club soccer with the Alpine Strikers ... Earned first-team all-section honors as a senior, and first-team all-league honors twice ... Helped Sacred Heart to a pair of league championships and an appearance in the state semifinals, as well as the Open Division Section finals ... Also was an Eagle Scout.
