Coaching Staff

Head Distance Coach: Terrence Williams

Coach TBackground:
Terrence Williams has dedicated his life to sports, both as a competitor and a coach. He is a SoCal native, starting his track career at Orange High School out of Orange County, and eventually committing to UCLA as a Division 1 Track & Field athlete. As a track and field athlete, he achieved remarkable success, including being a four-time NCAA Division I All-American, a National Champion in the distance-medley relay and the 4x400m relay, and a 2004 Olympic trials competitor. He would then go on to sign his first pro contract with Adidas, where he competed as a 400m and 800m runner with the athletic brand. Returning to UCLA, Terrence is excited to reconnect with the school and its athletic programs. This has been a very full circle moment for him, as he has seen UCLA at many points throughout its athletic history. He enjoys being on the track again, feeling like Drake Stadium is one of his homes away from home. He's especially interested in working with distance runners, impressed by their talent, and eager to help them excel. With his experience and genuine passion for sports, Terrence is ready to support the team and help them compete at a high level.
