UCLA Cycling Hosts the "UCLA Road Race"

UCLA Cycling Hosts the

9UCLA Cycling's infamous "UCLA Road Race" will be held on February 23rd, 2019. The registration helps cover UCLA Cycling's funds for the year and in return we try to host one of the most unique and challenging races in the nation! Our course, held in Pearblossom, CA, features a gnarly and painful 25-minute climb, a blistering 20-minute descent with some false flats, and some amazing views. You can find the route here.

Herbalife24 nutrition samples will be provided; please bring your water bottle. Helen's Cycles has also donated prizes for a KOM Competition for the first person over the line at the end of the first lap. 10-Speed Coffee will be bringing out their coffee truck to keep racers fed and warm as well! La Grange rider, Patrick Barrett, will be serving breakfast burritos and barbecue.

We will have junior races combined with collegiate fields to increase the field size and provide mentorship opportunities.

If none of the aforementioned reasons don't encourage you to come out and experience the racing scene, we also have prize money for non-collegiate racers and a King of the Mountain challenge on the first lap of most races!

Please pre-register online at USAC by February 21st, 2019 at 11:59pm. We will have race-day registration available and CASH IS PREFERRED (no credit cards accepted, checks can be made out to UC Regents c/o Cycling) with a $15 late fee incurred -$55 for elite categories, $40 for juniors on race day. Hope to see you all out on the road!
