Welcome to the Bruin Self Defense Tips page! See below for individual topics on how to keep yourself safe while on campus and at home. Topics include: increasing awareness, understanding how you will react in a stressful situation, and basic physical techniques to defend yourself. Download each one individually or the whole packet. Topics will be added periodically with input from UCLA's martial arts instructors.
