WHAT:
Muay Thai is a practical, combative martial art form of kickboxing that allows hand, elbow, knee, and kick strikes to the head, body and legs. Thai Boxing is known for its high-level cardiovascular and strength conditioning by training with kicking pads, sp
arring drills and intense calisthenics. Students will learn Thai traditions and disciplines associated with the martial art. We highly recommend either boxing gloves (at least 12oz in weight) and/or hand wraps for wrist protection. Many students also purchase their own additional equipment for hygiene reasons (including focus mitts and thai pads). Please contact the instructor for more information on these or other items.
