UCLA Climbing Team 2024-2025
Welcome to the UCLA Climbing Team— a vibrant community of climbers dedicated to sending hard, building friendships, and exploring the outdoors. At the heart of our club is a passionate and dedicated leadership team who keep things running smoothly:
Leading the charge is our President, Vincent Lee, supported by Vice President Ryan Solomon. Our incredible team of Events Coordinators — Henry Nagle, Addison Fisher, Gitanjali Sharma, and Keifer Lamberth — work hard to keep the stoke high with engaging events throughout the year.
We're also backed by a strong and diverse group of board members:
Jacob Tan and Kirin Guinto, our Team Captains, inspire growth and excellence on and off the wall.
Dan Bason, our Treasurer, ensures we're all set for gear, travel, and events.
Ken Matsunaga, our Secretary, keeps everything organized and running on time.
Charlotte Wolf, our Safety Officer, makes sure our adventures stay safe.
Barret Willett, our Social Chair, brings the community together with fun and memorable hangouts.
Alex Jensen, lovingly dubbed our Gear Lord, keeps all our equipment in top shape.
Spencer Timmons, our Media Chair, captures and shares all the stoke.
And Lilia Naylor, our Enrollment Chair, makes it easy for new members to get involved.
Last but not least, our amazing Trip Leads, Pia Pangan and Julie Tran, guide us on epic outdoor excursions to some of California and Nevada's most iconic climbing destinations — from the granite boulders of Bishop, to the stunning desert landscapes of Joshua Tree and Red Rocks, to the local favorites like Echo Cliffs and Malibu.
No matter your experience level, the UCLA Climbing Club has something for you! Whether you're brand new to climbing or have been sending V10s for years, you'll find a supportive and stoked community here. We're both a casual social club — perfect for meeting new friends, going on chill gym or outdoor sessions, and joining fun events — and a competitive team for those looking to train hard and represent UCLA at climbing comps across the region. Come as you are, climb as you like — there's space for everyone on the wall. 💙💛
