This past weekend, UCLA Boxing competed in the first tournament of their NCBA season at Sweet Science Boxing gym, in Hawthorne, California. UCLA sent two fighters: 130 lb boxer Alex Meneses, and 165 lb boxer
Fred Xu. The competition hosted 17 bouts and boasted schools such as: USC, El Camino College, U of Washington, U of Michigan, and the Air Force. In a thrilling bout Alex Meneses defeated Freddy Ceciliano by unanimous decision. Subsequently, after a close bout,
