Ucla Mens Club Soccer plays to 2-2 tie with UCSB

The UCLA Men's Club Soccer team battled with UCSB on Saturday as the teams ultimately played to a 2-2 tie. After being overmatched by the Gauchos and falling 2-1 when the teams squared up during Fall Quarter, the Bruins held the momentum throughout a large portion of the game this time around. Markus Raad scored both of UCLA's goals, each of which came within the the first half of play. Following the game, Head Coach Noah Rothstein noted that he was "disappointed in the result, not in the way that we played", adding that he was "frustrated because we had many more significant chances, with like 15 shots on goal compared to their 2". Overall though, Coach Rothstein was "very pleased with the way that the team played" and it was clear that despite the result, the Bruins showed significant improvements in their game management. The boys will be back in action in two Saturdays when they take on Cal State Northridge at home.
